The first Lead Article in the first issue of the ZEF News (May 1999) dealt with “Controversial WTO topics”, and was written by ZEF-researchers Ulrike Grote (now a Professor at the University of Hanover) and Susanna Wolf (now a Senior Programme Officer at UN-OHRLLS). Since then, hundreds of ZEF-researchers have made contributions about their topics of research. The most recent issue of the ZEF News is no. 48 (April 2024). In addition, ZEF has published 40 ZEF e-newsletters since 2011.
